VEGAN Cauliflax Protein Porridge! [Vanilla, Blueberry Muffin, Maple Pancake, Chocolate Mocha]


If you follow my Instagram feed, you'll know I have been working on a vegan version of my Cauliflax protein porridge! I think I'm finally satisfied with this good base recipe, and I've included several other flavor options to try too! Hope you love this allergen friendly porridge as much as me!

Vanilla Cauliflax Porridge
Grain Free, Gluten Free, Nut Free, Dairy Free, Vegan


You will need:

  • 4 tbsp milled flax
  • 1 heaped cup riced cauliflower
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla coconut milk
  • 1 scoop MRM Vanilla Bean Veggie Elite Protein Powder

  • 1 tsp Beanilla vanilla extract
  • sweetener of choice, to taste (i don't use any sweetener, i think it's sweet enough from the protein powder!)
Directions:

  • In a small sauce pan, add the water, milk, flax and cauliflower. 
  • Turn on the heat to medium.
  • Whisking every so often, let this cook for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly, so the flax absorbs the liquids
  • When the porridge has almost reached your desired consistency, add the Vanilla Bean Veggie protein, Beanilla vanilla extract, and sweetener of choice.
  • Stir until all are incorporated, pour into a bowl and top with whatever you want!! 


Blueberry Muffin Cauliflax Porridge

Grain Free, Gluten Free, Nut Free, Dairy Free, Vegan

Instead of grabbing that sugar-laden Blueberry Muffin from your local bakery on your way to work, you can enjoy a delicious, healthy, high protein porridge alternative that tastes so much like your favorite muffin, but you don’t have to feel guilty about it! Loaded with protein from MRM French Vanilla Egg White Protein and antioxidants and fiber from NordicNordic Bilberry Powder, you’ll be full and focused all morning long!

  • In a small sauce pan, add the water, milk, flax and cauliflower.

Maple Pancake Vegan Cauliflax Porridge

Chocolate Mocha Cauliflax Porridge
Grain Free, Gluten Free, Nut Free, Dairy Free, Vegan



You will need:

  • 1 tsp Beanilla Coffee Extract
  • sweetener of choice, to taste (i don't use any sweetener, i think it's sweet enough from the protein powder!)

    1. no, i use it raw! adds a nice chewy, oatmeal-like texture :)

  2. excellent!! I have done this same method using parsnips and its great! I will use cauliflower for sure nxt time. the protein powder just adds so much to the mix its so good

  3. This looks great!! Do you think there's a substitute for the coconut milk? I'm not a huge fan of the taste, but I would love to try this porridge!

    1. Thanks Hannah!! You can use any non-dairy milk that you have at home. It doesn't have to be coconut! :)
