"Caramel" Porridge
Ever craved a caramel flavor in your morning oatmeal? There are just a couple simple, healthy and natural secret ingredients to get it!
For this breakfast, simply prepare your vanilla oatmeal the way you normally do, or use my recipe for it. Half way through cooking, stir in:
- 2 medjool dates chopped roughly into small pieces
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1/2 tsp mesquite powder
The dates will warm and soak up some of the liquid, becoming super gooey and sweet, and the maca and mesquite will give you a delicious caramelly flavour with each bite!!
